Our client is seeking a hands-on data expert with SQL, Python and PowerBI skills to examine and analyse the data landscape, working with systems in order to design performance metrics, MI etc. with a view to deriving insights required to improve and enhance company performance.

In this key role, you will develop and execute the data strategy for the Group while overseeing data governance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

You will also lead data transformation initiatives to enhance data quality, accessibility / reporting, and analytics capabilities.

In addition, you will collaborate with senior leadership in order to embed a data-driven culture and support strategic decision-making.

With proven experience as a senior data leader within the insurance industry (ideally within the London Insurance market), the successful candidate will possess a strong background in data strategy, governance, and transformation, with a track record of driving impactful data initiatives.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are also required, with the ability to make complex issues understandable for a non-technical audience.
