Star Actuarial is supporting our client in their search for a technical pensions leader. This is a senior appointment and would suit a proactive, technically strong pensions professional with previous leadership experience and the energy to drive improvements.  

 What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and developing a team, fostering growth and accountability.
• Managing complex calculations.
• Liaising with insurers to secure member benefits and ensure compliance for buy-in/buy-out.
• Presenting key reports to Trustees and driving solutions.
• Collaborating with senior leaders to enhance processes and delivery.

• Strong DB pensions expertise (DC knowledge is a bonus).
• Proven leadership skills with the energy to inspire and drive change.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
