Our client, a major insurer, has an exciting career development opportunity for a part-qualified life actuary (or data scientist) to join its Retail Protection team where you will develop and price new and existing products by providing pricing expertise and any additional support as required. 

In this key role, you will monitor and analyse market rates to identify strategies and tactics to improve market share and new business profitability.

You will also support the areas of product development, commercial deals, and pricing innovations. 

The successful candidate will have some actuarial or data science experience, preferably gained in a commercial pricing and/or life insurance capacity. 

Knowledge/experience of Prophet would be an advantage, but is not required.
